There are many options available to you to run your business.
We have divided these options
into three categories.
The first category is "solo traveler". In this category, you the business man makes all the decisions
by yourself without the aid of any advisors. You do all the compliance work yourself.
The second category is "business class traveler". In this case, you have advisors, but they are only
doing minimum services in regard to helping you make decisions on how to run or improve your business.
You use accountants to do your compliance work. In this category, the advisors are used when you get
in trouble. The advisors may or may not have helped you set goals, but the only time you call them is
when you get in trouble.
The third category is "first class traveler". This is the business that realizes that the only way to
run and grow a business is with a team approach. Every person on the team has responsibilities. The
business leader sets the goals, the employees share in the responsibility of bringing these goals to
reality, the accountant does the compliance work, and the business advisor facilitates the goals. The
business advisor gets involved with planning days, system designs, planning process, key performance
indicators, and monitors the processes to keep the company on track. The business advisor can also be
